Weaponry Training

Japanese Swordsmanship
Trainings are conducted on Sunday mornings, 10.30am to 12.30am.
Practitioners only need a bokken (wooden Japanese sword), that can easily be bought at martial arts supply shops in Singapore. Be sure to ask for white oak as it can withstand clashing during practice drills.
Attire will be comfortable workout attire. As you proceed, you'll need to get a set of Japanese gi and hakama.

Mixed Weaponry Sparring
Sparring will be from 12.30am onwards. You can use any RSW weapon of your choice in sparring. Attendance is free, and there will be rental weapons for those who do not have their own.
Be prepared for a high-adrenaline action as you see weapons from different cultures meet and clash!

There is no "points" to "score" in the grim reality of weaponry combat. A 1-on-1 match is considered over when one or both participants is determined to have suffered a disabling and/or lethal death attack. From there we will evaluate and recognize what the outcome of the match is. The best situation is to end the match while not having even a single scratch on yourself.
